Seismic Analysis Automation Tool
Built a Python Tkinter workflow for seismic data configuration, retrieval, LLM-assisted technical help, and waveform visualization.
Computer Science at Cal Poly Pomona
I build AI-assisted tools, public-sector web systems, and data-heavy engineering workflows that turn messy technical problems into usable products.
Selected case studies
Recruiters should not have to reverse-engineer impact from a repository list. These are the projects and systems I would want them to see first.
Built a Python Tkinter workflow for seismic data configuration, retrieval, LLM-assisted technical help, and waveform visualization.
Designed tools for risk assessment, recovery mapping, water resilience, and rebuilding guidance aligned with USGBC standards.
Built customer-facing automation for support intake and pricing logic, improving quote accuracy and customer response flow.
Maintained production and staging web systems for civic and education audiences, resolving user-facing issues in Agile sprints.
What I have shipped
Updating Waterworks Division web content and improving site accuracy and UI/UX for 280,000+ residents.
Built a post-wildfire rebuilding platform with risk tools, recovery mapping, and resilience calculators.
Automated seismic analysis workflows, added LLM assistance, and presented technical work to researchers.
Supported web platforms serving 230,000+ students and resolved 100+ development tickets.
Beyond the job title
I lead teams, create opportunities for others to build, and bring the same communication and accountability to technical and community settings.
Event Leadership
Helped organize HACKMESA, a hackathon that brought participants together to build, collaborate, and learn through hands-on projects.
Team Leadership
Led hackathon participants and supported teams as they shaped ideas, solved problems, and worked toward completed project demos.
Community Outreach
Participated in outreach events through my current role to promote the service and connect it with the people it is designed to support.
Technical Community
Served as a competition judge, evaluating participant work and providing thoughtful feedback based on the goals and criteria of the event.
Athletics
Served as captain of my high school varsity soccer team, building teamwork, accountability, and composure in a competitive environment.

About
I am a Computer Science student at Cal Poly Pomona with hands-on experience across civic web systems, AI tools, data visualization, and technical support. I care about building software that holds up under real users, real constraints, and real deadlines.
I grew up in Panama and came to the United States at 16 to pursue a stronger education and career. Outside of engineering, I train for long-distance running and enjoy poker, chess, and solving Rubik's Cubes.
Let's build something useful
I am open to software projects, AI and data work, public-interest technology, and thoughtful conversations about engineering.
